Sanity CMS development
Sanity is a modern headless CMS that separates content management from the website itself. You manage the content in a clear editor, and a site built with technologies like Next.js or Astro then renders it quickly and exactly to the design. The same content can serve your website, your app and other channels at once.

AI and Content Agent
The built-in AI tools know the structure of your content and help you write, translate, summarise and review it. The Content Agent can even make bulk changes across the whole site from a simple brief.
Sanity Studio
A content editor that adapts to your team and your requirements. Studio is built on React and can be shaped exactly around the way you work and what you need from a CMS: your own structure, fields, previews and workflows. No pointless fields from an off-the-shelf product, just what you actually need, built for you.

Visual editing
You edit content directly in the preview of the site. Click any text or image and Sanity takes you straight to the place where you change it. You see the edits immediately, before anything is published.
Structured content
Sanity stores content as structured data, not as finished pages. That makes it easy to reuse, to translate into several languages and to display anywhere: on the website, in a mobile app or in a newsletter. One edit shows up everywhere.

Content Releases
Prepare several changes as a single release, review the result in advance and schedule it for a specific date and time. Ideal for campaigns, events or product launches. And when you need to, you can roll the changes back.
Real-time collaboration
Several people can work on the content at the same time. Comments, tasks and a full history of changes keep track of who edited what, and any version can be restored at any point.

Media Library
All your images, videos and files in one place. Media is easy to find and reuse across projects, and images are optimised for fast loading automatically as soon as they are uploaded.
Speed and SEO
Content is delivered over a global CDN, and thanks to the Live Content API changes appear on the site within seconds. A site built on a modern framework is extremely fast, and you keep full control over SEO: meta tags, structured data and semantic markup.

Functions
Functions let you automate routine work, for example validation, translations or sending content on to other systems.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Sanity CMS and how does it differ from an ordinary CMS?
Sanity is a headless CMS, that is, a system that only looks after the content and says nothing about how the site looks. The content is stored as structured data and the site pulls it in through an API.
The Webflow solution, which I also offer to clients, joins content and appearance into one whole. Sanity separates them, so you can use the same text or image on the website, in a mobile app and in a newsletter without writing it again.
- Who is Sanity a good fit for?
For projects where there is a lot of content, several people write it, or the same data is used in more than one place. Typically sites with an extensive blog, a catalogue, several language versions or a connection to internal systems.
For a simple company presentation managed by one person and changed a few times a year, Webflow is usually a better fit. I pick the platform based on the project, not on my specialisation.
- What will you build the site itself on?
Most often on Astro or Next.js. Both can generate the site in advance, so the visitor is served a finished page and it loads in a flash.
The choice depends on what the site has to do. Astro suits content sites, Next.js the places where more interactivity or user logins are needed.
- Will I be able to manage the content myself?
Yes. I build Sanity Studio around your content, so there are no fields in it you do not need, and each one has a description of what it is for.
Visual editing also lets you click a text directly in the preview of the site and edit it on the spot. You see the change before you publish it.
- How much does running a site with Sanity cost?
Sanity has a free plan that is usually enough for small and medium sites. You start paying with a larger volume of data, more editors or advanced features.
On top of that you need to count the hosting of the site itself, most often on Vercel, where the free plan also covers an ordinary company presentation. We go through the actual numbers in the initial consultation.
- Is a site with Sanity well optimised for SEO?
Yes, and it is one of the main advantages. Because the site is generated in advance and delivered over a global CDN, it loads fast, which Google uses when ranking results.
You have full control over the structure of the code, so the heading hierarchy, meta tags, structured data and files for language models are all set precisely, not through plugins.
- Can a site be moved to Sanity from another platform?
Yes, migration is a normal part of the job. Content from the existing site can be imported with a script, so it does not have to be retyped by hand.
Migration also includes redirects from the old URLs to the new ones, so the site does not lose its search rankings after launch.
